Will Weinstein Ethics Conversation Series adds entertainment session on music
Fund manager, former securities executive and part-time Hawai‘i resident Will K. Weinstein is returning to the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa to moderate his annual Will Weinstein Ethics Conversation Series featuring distinguished executives and professionals from Hawai‘i and the mainland.
This year, Weinstein has added a special session called Ethics in Entertainment to discuss topics in the music industry such as streaming services, music royalties and compensation, and the price of fame. The speakers include Shep Gordon, talent manager, film agent and producer; Chris McCutcheon, CEO and president of TRI Studios; Jacqueline Sabec, Los Angeles entertainment lawyer; Brian Zisk, executive producer of the SF MusicTech Summit; and Simon Potts, former executive at Arista, Elektra and Capitol Records.
The series is sponsored by the William S. Richardson School of Law and the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
