I hope you’re all doing well. We’ve had quite the summer having been through TWO hurricanes since the last jam. School is also back in session and I’m looking forward to seeing more students come out to the jam throughout this coming school year. Students, invite your friends.
Do you remember, that the next jam is scheduled for MONDAY, the 21st night of September, from 6:00-9:00pm?
The opening trio will feature pianist Christina Sochor and bassist Dan Riley. Christina has a new album coming out soon featuring her arrangements of popular video game music, and we’ll be playing a few tracks from the upcoming record. I’m happy Dan is available this month after last month’s cancellation. This will be an awesome trio playing some really fun music so please come early and check it out.
Bring your instruments. Vocalists, know your key. Everyone is welcome to bring charts if they want to read through something. Have fun, be cool, come up to us and ask questions. See you on the 21th!

- Studio 909 is located at 949 Kapiolani Blvd. 96814 and is a part of the Musicians’ Association of Hawaii.
- BYO food and beverages
- DO NOT park in the 909 condo building guest stalls. Free parking is available but limited at the union on the ground level. Use up the tandem spaces by moving in so someone can park behind you and please look at signs if parking along the street.
